Kamden (and crew) Shines On Last BQMRA Weekend

On October 13 and 14, Kamden and HMS raced in the last two BQMRA club races for the 2017 outdoor season. Kamden managed to bring home feature wins in both Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal on Friday and the Jr. Honda win on Saturday.

On Sunday, October 15th in the 5th leg of the Mid-Ohio Series, Kamden managed to finish the Jr. Animal feature in the runner up position. In the Jr. Honda feature, Kamden got involved in an on-track incident causing pretty severe damage to the left rear of this car. After bringing into the pits, the crew (along with several other dads) were able to make just enough repairs in order to get him back on the track. Once there, he was able to wheel his badly-damaged hot rod to the front of the field with 3 laps to go. From there, he was passed and finished P3. The team was thrilled with a third place finish considering how damaged the car was.

Not only was this weekend fantastic on the track, but Kamden's performances secured his spot in BQMRA history as he earned the designation as the 2017 Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal track champion.
