HMS Performs In Waterford

HMS traveled to Waterford, Michigan to compete in the Midwest Thunder regional race on May 27-28. Kamden opened up the weekend with a Jr. Honda heat win and a very exciting 2nd place finish in the feature. In fact, the Jr. Honda win was in Kamden's grasp before he got tangled with a lapped car, slowing his momentum. This cost him his large lead and he was ultimately unable to recover, finishing 2nd overall. On Sunday, Kamden drove the Jr. Animal car to a 3rd place finish in both the heat and feature races. Below is the in-car video from the Jr. Honda Feature. Team Hibbitt learned a ton about the handling characteristics of both cars and was thrilled with the outcome of the weekends races

Another Feature Win for Kamden and HMS

Kamden once again finished the weekend off with a stellar performance. After the crew missed the car setups in both Jr. Animal and Jr. Honda heat races, Kamden started both features from the 3rd starting spot. In the Jr. Animal feature, the car was still off and we just didn't have enough to compete at the front. We finished P3. In the Jr. Honda feature, Kamden had an unbelievable start and managed to be the leader by the end of lap #1. Once out front, he built a manageable lead and was able to finish P1. Yet another great weekend for Kamden and all of the hard Hibbitt Motorsports workers. Pictures will be added as soon as they are available.

Kamden Finishes On The Podium

On Saturday, Kamden raced his heart out and nearly swept both Jr. Animal and Jr. Honda. In the Jr. Animal car, he managed to get the lead only to be passed going into turn 3 on the final lap. Coming out of turn 4, Kamden managed to pull next to the leader but lost the drag race to the line, finishing 2nd by about two feet. In the Jr. Honda, Kamden started P4, got to the front and managed to stay there, earning his 2nd straight BQMRA Jr. Honda feature win. It was an exciting day of racing with a ton of hard earned passes. Congrats to Austin Geer for his last lap pass and earning the Jr. Animal Feature win.

Kamden Completes Remarkable Weekend

Kamden and HMS had an unbelievable weekend competing in two separate series. First was the Miami Valley Quarter Midget Racing Associations Club Race on Saturday May 6th. Kamden got the weekend started off strong with 1st place finishes in both Jr. Animal and Jr. Honda heat races. After starting both features P1, Kamden was able to hold off a tough charging field to complete the sweep of the day with feature wins in both classes. On Sunday, May 7th, Kamden competed in the Mid-Ohio Series' first race of the season. Once again, Kamden showed strength in the heats finishing at the top in both Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal. This included a last lap pass to take the checkered in the Jr. Animal hea

K. Hibbitt Has Mixed Day at Mac O Chee

On a last minute scheduling addition, Kamden went to Mac O Chee Speedway in West Liberty, Ohio and finished heat races 2nd in the Jr. Animal and 3rd in the Jr. Honda. Then in the features, a mid-race incident with another car put Kamden in the back of the pack in the Jr. Animal. He was able to drive forward to salvage a 4th place finish. In the Jr. Honda feature, Kamden fought hard and was able to finish in the 2nd position. Both cars were brought home in one piece and HMS got some very valuable notes for future Mac O Chee races. Congrats to Brycen Blair who took home wins in both Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal.
