Kamden Runs Strong in Obetz

This past weekend, Kamden and Hibbitt Motorsports raced in two separate BQMRA club races at their home track in Obetz, Ohio. On Saturday, Kamden won first place honors in the Jr. Animal class. Then in the Jr. Honda, Kamden got a great start, rocketing to the front of the field from the drop of the green flag. He held the top spot until he was passed on the final lap by fellow driver and friend, Austin Geer. On Sunday, The Jr. Animal car was much the same. Hibbitt Rebounds in Jr. Honda Feature

In last weekend's Mid-West Thunder race held at the Miami Valley QM track, Kamden showed great speed only to finish 4th in his Jr. Honda heat race. This put Kamden behind the 8-ball, starting 6th in the "B" Main. Kamden quickly shot to the front, took the lead and didn't look back, winning the "B" and securing a 7th place starting position for the Jr. Honda "A" Main. Once in the "A", Kamden showed great speed and once again moved towards the front of the field. A mid-race incident took him to the back of the field. HMS Endures Highs and Lows in Lansing

HMS had a mixed bag of emotions during stop number 3 in the Mid-West Thunder Series in Lansing, MI. After racing to the Jr. Honda "B" Main win in order to secure a spot in the coveted "A" Main, Kamden raced up to a third place finish, placing him on the podium for the 2nd straight week. The Jr. Animal car proved to be more difficult to handle on Sunday. Kamden fought a terribly tight car in the Jr. Animal heat race and was forced out after spinning 3 separate times. This put him last in the "A" Main. The crew worked very hard, found the issues and prepared a very fast car for the feature.
