HMS Performs In Waterford

HMS traveled to Waterford, Michigan to compete in the Midwest Thunder regional race on May 27-28. Kamden opened up the weekend with a Jr. Honda heat win and a very exciting 2nd place finish in the feature. In fact, the Jr. Honda win was in Kamden's grasp before he got tangled with a lapped car, slowing his momentum. This cost him his large lead and he was ultimately unable to recover, finishing 2nd overall.

On Sunday, Kamden drove the Jr. Animal car to a 3rd place finish in both the heat and feature races. Below is the in-car video from the Jr. Honda Feature.

Team Hibbitt learned a ton about the handling characteristics of both cars and was thrilled with the outcome of the weekends races. Two podium finishes with the quality of fields in both classes is surly something to be proud of. Congrats to Colin Mitchell on picking up wins in both Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal.
